Using the same methods in my clinical practice, I’ve seen women sustain healthy weight loss, immediately reduce stress and boost their energy levels, alleviate their pain drug-free, and overcome chronic health conditions. Your results will depend on many things, including the state of your overall health when you join the program, your openness to change, what you want to achieve, how closely you follow the lesson plans, and whether or not you seek support for your challenges within our online community and during 'Office Hours.' Like most things in life, I believe you get what you give.
This program takes work, and while I don't promise a quick fix, it is designed with maximum flexibility in mind. How much time you spend each week is entirely up to you - there are no due dates or quizzes. You may find some lessons more challenging than others, but they are all necessary to achieve balance in your life. As a guideline, you should allow between 1 - 1.5 hours a week to listen to or watch the recorded material and complete the assignments. Each unit is broken down into 4 short videos or audio recordings so you can watch, learn and download the program materials from your computer, tablet or phone.
How active you are in the community forum is also up to you, but most participants will benefit from hearing others' experiences as well as sharing their own challenges and successes. I recommend you participate in at least 1 forum discussion and 1 'Office Hours' session. The community forums are open 24-7 so you can visit them whenever it's most convenient for you. At a minimum, you should strive to listen to or watch each weekly unit.

I make food recommendations to balance common nutritional needs and nutrient deficiencies, and promote optimal vitality. I give you options, so you can implement my recommendations into your life in a real way, according to your preferences.
I start by showing you how to add more healthy foods to your diet, as a first step. I find this strategy helps to replace the not-so-healthy foods much more effectively and effortlessly than cutting them out from the start. By adding certain healthy foods, you end up crowding out the not-so-healthy choices without really trying.
The Art of Living Program is designed to support real lasting change by taking small steps, one at a time until they become habit. By following the program and this process, you will feel satisfied and energized from the positive changes to your diet. You may still reach for your favorite foods from time to time – and that's ok. Life is about balance. But, you may find your unhealthy cravings start to vanish, and no longer need these foods to satisfy you because you are satisfied in so many other ways.
As a holistic nutritionist, my preference is to use whole real foods to heal the body first. Some imbalances benefit from 'heavy artillery' like supplementation to get the job done most effectively and efficiently. However, I make recommendations based on foods first, and will give you options to use supplementation if you so choose.

As a holistic lifestyle coach, I go way beyond the education of food choices and look at other areas of your life that contribute to your overall state of health and wellbeing. What you eat is just the beginning. For example, eating kale alone will not likely lead to positive lifestyle improvements in the long run. There are numerous other elements that nourish your mind, body and soul, beyond food. My life coaching experience enables me to address relationships, your internal dialogue, how you feel and look at yourself, your sexual energy, how you deal with stress, how you clean your home and body, along with a host of other nourishing elements.
